Pathfinders: Discovering Your Creative Direction
Pathfinders is an interactive workshop where attendees explore the real-world process of building a creative career. Through guided activities and industry insights, participants will uncover their strengths, interests, and ultimately, the creative path that fits them best.
Music Production: Sample the Store Challenge
Attendees will capture everyday Walmart sounds and transform them into original beats or creative content. From shopping cart clanks to barcode beeps, they’ll experiment with turning ordinary moments into unique productions using Create-it Studios’ gear, sample drives, and workstations.
Podcast Production: From Concept to Final Cut
Attendees will bring a podcast idea to life from concept to recording. Participants will explore our studio spaces, learn how to set up and operate professional podcast equipment, and record a short introductory episode. They’ll also gain essential skills in editing and audio cleanup, leaving with the knowledge and confidence to produce engaging, high-quality podcasts.
Dolby Atmos: 3D Special Audio
This workshop offers an introduction to the future of sound. In this session, attendees will step into our professional Dolby Atmos studio and experiment with rearranging 3D spatial audio in a fully immersive environment, powered by 13 precision-calibrated Adam Audio speakers.
Live Production: Where Performance meets Production
Dive into the behind-the-scenes world of live production, learning how to set up basic sound and lighting systems from start to finish. From wiring and equipment setup to executing a live performance, participants get hands-on experience both as performers and engineers. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to understand the full scope of what it takes to bring a show to life.

Duration: Visits can range from 1 to 3 hours based on group’s needs.
Group Size: Minimum of 5 participants; maximum varies by lab, with most sessions accommodating up to 30.
